“Little Hearts ‧ Great Minds”
2nd Asian Youth & Children Art Competition 2021

Organized by the Hong Kong Art Exchange Association, accept applications now. This competition is the very first age groups drawing competition for teenagers and children across Asia. The objectives of the event are:

  • To promote art exchanges between Hong Kong youth and children and other countries
  • To provide an art exchange platform across Asia for teenagers and children in Asia
  • To make and to develop this event into a high-level drawing competition for Asian teenagers and children and it will be held annually
  • To allow different participating countries and regions to hold presentation and exhibition in turns. The first one was held in Hong Kong last year.
  • To gradually develop the exhibition into a touring exhibition in Asia
  • To provide opportunities for students to travel to various Asian regions for art and cultural study tours and exchanges so as to let students understand, experience and respect cultural differences.

School/Art Centre/Institution across Asia, including China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam will be invited.

Official Rules & Regulations

【Painting Format】
  • Painting Size:  A3(297x420mm) or A2(420x594mm) size
  • White paper / Rice paper
  • Flat painting
  • Any form of collage (including glitters) or computer drawings are not accepted
  • The entry must be an original art work and not duplicated from any other artworks
  • To be drawn and completed by the participant
  • No limitation on mediums and painting methods
  • Rice paper artwork should be mounted on white paper
  • Paintings shall not be framed
  • Should not be folded or curled while sending in
  • Marks will be deducted if the artwork does not comply with painting format

【Entry Fee】HK$100 per entry.  No extra cost for certificates, medals, trophy or exhibition.

    Please submit the crossed cheque along with the artworks.  Crossed cheque should be made payable to “Hong Kong Art Exchange Association Limited” with participants’ name written at the back. Dated cheque and cash are not accepted.
